I think it’s worth the discussion. Oppo isn’t FP after all so it’s probably suitable that we quibble among ourselves about the matter.

Personally? I feel like there are a lot of good comments that can and do occur after 7pm EST and before midnight, lots of individuals don’t or can’t contribute at work. I’m of the opinion that COTD should pull from a 24 hour period.

Yeah, but that was a comment from yesterday and although it was posted after yesterday’s COTD runnings, I’ve put it up for discussion to see if Oppo thinks we should still allow it to be a candidate due to FP not doing the same. Since no one talked about it and didn’t say what I should do about that, since this is an FP-inspired concept, I won’t use it as the main winner, but an honorable mention due to the fact that no one offered their opinion on the matter, except the one who brought the question up. So I’ll add it as an honorable mention again and re-ask the question.

It wasn’t my intent to specifically bash DT with my comment. I was a little heated last night about something completely unrelated.

I’m sure he’s a nice guy, he just comes off as maybe a little inconsiderate to his neighbors. I know this is Murica, and freedom etc, but I think we’d all benefit from taking a moment to think about how our actions might effect the people around us, preferably before our neighbors are about to call the cops.
