The completely unmolested Mk1 is a rarity, the Mk2 was the same as the Mk1 from the windscreen back and the Mk3 and Mk4 were both sold as three and five door and were basically the same car.
Note that hubcaps go out and back into fashion as we move on.

I saw a white mk1 wagon the other day, I was very surprised to see one out and about while the roads were still a bit salt covered.

That’s the problem with escorts. When they’re young they’re all peppy and up for fun, and then they just get flabbier and less enthusiastic as the years roll on...
