Also one of two employees making a statement on their desk.

I know right?! I love that thing. Got it for Christmas last year. Gonna be making a base for it soon hopefully.

Haha, thanks. That “Facel” is actually a Lancia Flavia, a model of my own project car given to me by fellow Opponaut and LALDer Jobjoris. The red one in front of it is a Fiat/Abarth 205. Also, German shop=German diecasts;) Easier to get away with a bunch of cars on your desk when you’re in the biz, I suppose.

Eh... not very. This is part of a lamp that’s supposed to be a wooden boat replica - it is, at least, made mostly of wood. But there are several details that aren’t correct. Like, two propellers (twin engine) but only one exhaust - I realize you can only see one of the props in this pic. Chocks for rear dock lines but no cleat - they got it right in the bow, why not the stern? Same hardware used for rear vents and bowlight; that’s just lazy. But it looks coo overall, and my parents gave it to me. So that’s that.
Also in this picture: a random 1/4-20 stainless bolt & nut I like to fiddle with when people are wasting my time; a shift knob from my old boat, and one from my new one (both were replaced with a nice wooden one); the blue disc is a piece of my old boat that I drilled out when installing a through-hull fitting in the side; and the ceramic thing was a present from a friend in ceramics.
No cars, sorry.

I’d say the boat is pretty damn Jalop. I’d love a wooden v8 speed boat.(in my dreams)

My father in law has an inline-6 powered wooden boat; my father has an outboard wooden boat.
That’s close enough for me, I don’t want to deal with owning one!
Related: my wife and I were married on an island, and took a wooden boat “home” from there. We borrowed a newer replica of an old boat, a 24' “Grand Craft” worth about $175,000. It had bow thrusters. And an 8.1 liter V8 with a single 5" diameter copper exhaust. It was amazing.

Desk itself... not so much.
Environment near desk...
Well, that’s an Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio peeking through the doorway.

Pretty good! You’d love my friend’s bachelor (as fuck) pad. The walls are 50% art 50% big parts from all of the turds we’ve torn into over the years. Its a vibe.

I don’t have a pic but it’s covered in car parts. I make car parts. Some are on my desk. A lot actually. Too many. I think my score is through the roof.

Wish I had seen this earlier or I would have posted a pick of the LeMons trophy I was using to hold my office door open today. The door stops they installed with our remodel don’t work worth a damn.

It looks like the 12 year old version of me was a consultant on my desk layout. Fairly random, and the antithesis of most of my colleagues.
Oh yeah, forgot to include my phone holder:
