I saw the FP post about the base A-class from yesterday while I was eating breakfast this morning and then when I got to work and parked next to a Highlander I was like hey that looks a lot like that new MB front end. Then I saw BlueMazda2's post while eating lunch and was like screw it I’m gonna see how this looks.

Coming here for this. If there was a Chinese knockoff of a last-gen Highlander, it wouldn’t look any closer than this.
Warm take: that Highlander is still one of the nicest looking cars on the road.

It’s definitely not a Highlander. (It totally is my 2-minute Photoshop of a Highlander after seeing this and thinking the nose looked a lot like a 10-year old Highlander I just saw in the parking lot.)

I see some similarity. The Volvo has bigger hips though. I actually don’t think the MB looks much like the Toyota really besides having the same headlight and grille shape. I was just bored a lunch and having a little fun with it.

I just put the badge on the grille and wheels and lowered the Highlander a bit. Any HHR is unintentional, although I can kind of see it now that there is less space between the tires and fenders.

It actually looks very HHR at a quick glance. The front, especially. It just looks like it has a weird tail end and obvious the badge is missing.
