A two-million-dollar car that I can’t drive anywhere and can’t get into my driveway. Maybe I should buy a his and hers.

Someone paid €9 million for this British Guiana 1 cent stamp (dating 1856). Compared to a racecar it’s easier to store safely (probably still a bit more complicated than keeping it in your bedroom drawer) but otherwise it’s pretty useless. I would rather have a race car than a valuable stamp.

Cars like the Valkyrie and the Project One really should have started life as LMP-1 competing cars that were then made available to purchase, rather than once-a-year track toys that pretend to be race cars.
They should have followed the Ford-GT path, not the Mclaren Senna path.
