I believe that’s actually still happening on some level, I’ve seen photos of ATS, CTS, and XTS models from as recently as 2016 that had carriage roofs, could be ‘17s and ‘18s out there somewhere.

I’ve always found it interesting that carriage/landau roofs seem to be holding on in popularity with two very distinct groups of loyal Cadillac buyers that have absolutely nothing in common with each other, aside from their preferred brand of domestic luxury car and their favored cosmetic modification to said car.
