Had heard of this guy. But like Shuggie Otis, once you listen to it, you realize that everything that came after sound like this. And Nothing before.

That album is just huge in terms of sonic influence. It’s a shame we only got the one, but also odd that his band didn’t every wind up doing anything much of significance afterward.

Monster of an album. If not for the needle and the damage done, this guy would have been huge (figuratively). could have ruled the world.
