Say hello to what is likely Washington State’s most hardcore Pizza delivery vehicle.
I have no clue where I’ll put food. Trunk is 1st pick, luggage rack 2nd choice, and I suppose if necessary I can remove the passenger seat. Oh and there’s space on the parcel shelf directly below the rollbar! This is going to fun (for a couple months until working 7 days/70 hours a week gets old). I can’t wait for sunny days, getting paid to drive around.
I was a bit surprised that there were two interviews. More than I was expecting for a pizza delivery job, but Pagliachis seems to be a pretty well run business from the hour or so I saw of it. An old high-school friend is a shift lead there while going to school, which is cool.
Goal is to save every penny and make this spring/summer the best earning period of my life. Then... New things!

Also you can now write fuel off of your taxes, & nobody is getting free pizza for being more than 40 minutes.

I think trunk unless you don’t mind your interior smelling like pizza all the time. Luggage rack could work if you keep the pizzas from getting stolen.

Strap a hard carrier box to the rack. Maybe even insulate it. Pizzas will arrive hot, and you’ll get maximum tips.

Yeah. Hopefully they’re cool with the honor system because my odometer is broken.
Mega-Miata refuses to be late

What’s your range?

I’m hoping convertible use will keep the smell down. If not... Yeah trunk and luggage rack.

On a scale of 1-11, what level of tipper do you consider yourself?

Not a bad idea.
Or go full Racecar and run a heater hose extension into the pizza bag...

if you actually delivered to my house, I would 100% be an 11/1o tipper

Let me work on the whole passport thing, then I’ll get back to you
![]() 03/04/2018 at 18:20 |

Nah, top down will not keep the smell down. Your carpet will absorb it for sure. At least the trunk carpet is easily replaceable!

Both you and Zoidberg need to get passports. You’re only 2 hours away to your dollar being 25% more powerful (although most things cost more up here)

Wait...race cars have pizza heater boxes in them?
![]() 03/04/2018 at 18:28 |

Clearly you don’t race in the same leagues that I race in

But you will only be able to rally on the return trip, nobody wants their pizza all slid and bunched up on on side of the box.

You should contact Uber and propose a new class of service called “sports-Uber”. The cars are only 2 seaters and the drive to the destination is done in a spirited fashion. 10/10 would use.

Exhaust. You’ll be the exclusive provider of smoked, coal-rolled pizzas.

If you do a delivery to a certain telco based in Factoria, you might meet me :)

I would kill for that job.

When does he get a helicopter

When I would give friends rides places in college and such, they knew they were in for a trip when I’d welcome them into the car with “Thanks for choosing Matt’s Excessive Taxi Service”

I would take that for shaken and not stirred, in the case of a delivery martini service.

I would tip excellently, if you delivered to Marysville

I know my way around Marysville pretty well, I’ll see if I can add it to our directory!

It is offset entirely by the taxes and higher prices. It’s not even at parity right now. That doesn’t hit until it’s around 1.40CAD:1USD. On the other hand, Canadians almost always come out ahead going into the US for stuff. When it’s close to parity like it was a while back, Canadians flood into the US for cheap stuff/food/etc.
Oh yes: I have a passport, because of course I do. Not just for Canada and México, either.

oh yeah, no doubt everything is generally cheaper in the US. I buy most things online in the US and pick them up in bellingham.
