I like this grey Civic hatchback Touring.

I’m with you. But for the price, give me a Mazda3.
![]() 03/03/2018 at 02:16 |

Interesting. Given the choice I would probably go with the Civic.
![]() 03/03/2018 at 02:18 |

Totally respectable.

I also like it, don’t get the hate for these cars.

No, the Accord is the car that kids like

Let me sharpen my pitchfork and light my torch...

I just can’t get over how ugly they are...
StudyStudyStudy’s Acura version was much better looking.

This exchange is too civil. Someone start swearing or hand in your Internet Card.

I get it

I like it a lot, especially in Sonic Grey.
And with that, let me just say that I’d gladly buy a Civic Type R if they were more economically reasonable.
![]() 03/03/2018 at 04:03 |

Me too. I think the Type-R is over the top on its styling. The normal civic hatch is about as swoops/curvy as I would want a hot hatch to look.
Also, I like how you can buy a normal civic hatch, do a Hondata tune, and essentially have a more useful civic Si for less money.

not a fan of the colour
![]() 03/03/2018 at 07:19 |

I like it but would prefer a blue 4 door SI
![]() 03/03/2018 at 07:38 |

I like, it’s a sweet color. I love all these flatter blueish grays we’ve been getting lately, I’m seriously looking at a jeep renegade in anvil.

They’re starting to come down to reality in price, know someone who got it 1k below MSRP.

I’m with you. I like the new Prius design too. I hate boring designs and am glad we are finally getting some interesting everyday cars.

The biggest offender on the current Civic to me is the chrome grille, which the hatch doesn’t have, so yes, agree.
![]() 03/03/2018 at 09:35 |

Manual transmission Touring please, why do the Canadians get all the nice things.....
![]() 03/03/2018 at 10:00 |

Even more unpopular: I prefer the Civic sedan/fastback
![]() 03/03/2018 at 10:09 |

it’s not even a chrome grille, it’s just a chrome ‘stache. Horrible. If I own one (ten years from now, because I like to buy my Hondas well aged) I’d have to plastidip it.
![]() 03/03/2018 at 10:11 |

Anyone drive one yet? I agree it looks great, but I notice the 2018s are all going CVTs and while i haven’t driven a Honda with one, I pretty much hated the Nissan and Toyota CVTs. Manual everything, I says!
![]() 03/03/2018 at 10:20 |

Meh. I like the color and that’s about it.
![]() 03/03/2018 at 10:36 |

That in Si trim would be sweet.
![]() 03/03/2018 at 11:01 |

Because we actually buy them.

still better than gen 8, but thats not saying much
![]() 03/03/2018 at 12:18 |
|
I love the color. I will take a new gen civic all day.
![]() 03/03/2018 at 12:32 |

That’s tempting. Wonder how difficult putting an LSD in would be. That’s about the only thing the Si would have over it at that point.

*points to H logo*

OK NOW you’ve gone too far
![]() 03/03/2018 at 14:53 |

I can’t figure honda out. So they bother to make a MT touring hatch and bring it to North America but not the US.
I’ve seen several base stick models languishing at dealerships. I’ll probably get an Si or an R instead but it kind of stinks that for arbitrary reasons, they will sell a stick hatch touring in Canada but not here.

I think that’s the best color that the hatchback comes in
