As a former LX470 owner who would love to have another 100-Series in his garage at some point, there is no possible scenario that would lead me to pay anywhere near MSRP for a new LX570. I’d much much rather have a Navigator, Escalade, Range Rover, G-Wagon...basically the only thing I’d take an LX over is a QX80. And even then I’d probably just get the Land Cruiser because of how damn ugly this thing is.

There are sooo many better ways to waste $100k though.
If you have 3 or 4 kids, and YOU STILL have $100k to waste on a car....you’ve done something right.

I mean, aside from the fact that none of the septuagenarians who buy this are going to go to the Rubicon... You got me, I can’t.
Really the only reason I’d hate on it is: you idiot, you could’ve spent that money on a GS-F. But I hate SUVs/trucks in general, unless they’re being used to tow race cars.

As I seem to be collecting stuttgart metal at an alarming rate, I have to decide if I want something like the lx570 slightly used or get another Merc wagon after the extended warranty ends in 2022 or just roll the dice on germann reliability.

Raptor? Also perhaps a low-tier Earthroamer (are they that cheap?). Heck. $100K is a big margin., and could lux-up a brand-new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon a LOT, though admittedly it’s also not quite stock then even if it goes through the loophole of an aftermarket company like Hennessey or whatever that are allowed to call themselves manufacturers.

Not helping. Also it’s doctors who buy the LX, and they aren’t usually that old.
And they killed the GS. Not just the F, the whole car as a model is dead. Why can’t I have the for awesome things like a GS F before NK nukes us all in retaliation to a fucking tweet?
