Based on where in the lot it was parked I’m guessing it was an employee.

This is awesome. One day I will own a vintage hearse.

Or a Lincoln MKT, same thing.

Well by the time I get to the point I could afford one it would probably be vintage.

That’s an awesome hearse!
Parking lot looks like it could be the Home Depot in Hamilton, Ohio.

You’re close; it’s Centerville, Ohio.

I was really close to trying to make a deal on a Packard hearse last fall, but the guy had no title which makes the car worthless in my state.

Yep, I’m actually doing bar trivia about 2 miles from there as we speak.

Nice!

Damn! That really sucks. What year was it?

Lol yeah yeah I know. I do like the straight pipes. I would get a lot of looks. I want something about 40 years older though. Have you had any bites on it yet?
![]() 02/28/2018 at 21:51 |

1952
It didn’t run, but looked like it was all there. The same guy had about 6 Packards from 50-53 for sale cheap, but none of them had titles.

Awww man that sucks. That would have been a nice one to have. I love an old Henney.
Also a big carved panel fan. Saw this one at a museum in Ohio a few years ago.

Yeah, someone’s coming to look at it on Sunday. He’s offering less than asking price, but I’m willing to deal in return for a quick sale

Understandable. Hopefully yall can negotiate on it and have a good outcome. Wish ya the best on it!

What museum is that from?
![]() 02/28/2018 at 22:30 |

The Canton Classic Car Museum. They also have a flower car.

Actually, it looks like he has another car for sale. Once again no title which means I can’t register it.

A flower car is something I’d love to have. A small car lot near me had a 1985 Fleetwood flower car for sale around 2005. The shop was well known as being shady as hell so I never even checked on it.

I hear ya. Flower cars don’t get as much love as hearses do so it’s definitely more rare to see one restored. That Henney Limo seems like it could be saved. Shame about the titles. I don’t remember what the law is down here in Mississippi as far as that goes.

Yep, if a bill of sale had any more value than toilet paper in Ohio I’d be interested.

Look into something called a bonded title. They cost a bit more money, and it’s more leg/paperwork, but it may be an option.

Ohio doesn’t do bonded titles. The owner could apply for a lost title, but “that’s too much hassle” according to him.
I think he bought out a hoarder and was never able to get them titled in his name to start with honestly.
