These brick parking areas with different color bricks marking the spaces seem very common in the Netherlands. I wish we had more of them in the USA. Also how hard can it possibly be to properly park a Mk4 Fiesta...

Yes they are very common, especially within cities/town, as they tend to look nicer than a slab of concrete with some white marking. Another benefit is that people try to stay withing the colour indicated for parking, meaning there is always some space buffer between the cars.
And yes, parking a mk4 shouldn’t be hard, but it’s on Polish plates, they tend to either not care at all, or not care because they are a bit drunk.
