A friend of mind sent these over to me yesterday. This isn’t exactly the kind of thing you normally see parked in a strip mall on a Monday in February. I’d like to know what the story was on it.

Thanks! With them being in Nelson it kind of makes sense since it’s relatively close but I still wonder what they were doing down here this time of year. Probably passing through to points south. And now I’m wondering what happened to the wagon.

Look closer — I believe that is the wagon— the car has a 2 tone scheme which is a darker blue from the C-pillar back and the beltline up. I think that’s hiding the fact that the car in the trailer is the 2-door wagon.

I thought that might be the case, so I just went through the pictures he sent me and I think this one shows the back window of a coupe. I’ll have to call him tonight to make sure.

ETA: You were right, I blew up the original and you can see the side windows of the wagon.

I don’t believe that Dodge actually made a 2 door wagon in that time frame. I think the car is actually a 2 door sedan modified to be a ‘wagon’ - partly for weight transfer purposes.
