I mean... the ls3 416 likely makes more torque, has more useable power (more power across broader powerband), weighs less, sits lower (Power cg), fits in tight places. It’s even been put into a 360 so far, so you know it fits. Power isn’t everything, and thankfully the LS3 is the whole package, and not just about power.

There’s the sound. There’s the fun factor of being able to rev the Voodoo (or even a Coyote to a lesser degree) into the stratosphere. Both of those would sway me away from the LS. Would a built LS be faster? Yeah, probably. But I, personally, wouldn’t enjoy it as much.

Why not have revs and ls. There are hydraulic roller LSX engines that rev over 8k.
I’ve owned an 03 cobra and an 03 Z06 and I enjoyed the sound of the ls6 far more than the motor boat noises that my cobra made. Missed the blower whine though
