It was certainly better than the last episode of the Grand Tour. In fact I stopped watching GT about 20 minutes in a few days ago as I got bored and have no real wish to watch the ending.

I feel TopGear are doing what old TopGear did, while the Grand Tour are revisiting and redoing what they did when they were at TopGear.

Nobody is doing a show about cars.

Fifth Gear was doing what very old TopGear was doing but I don’t even know if it’s still on and even then the last cast just weren’t that attention keeping in their presentation.

I might put on TopGear Extra shortly and see if that’s any good.

The GT finale was pretty underwhelming. Most of the celebrity interviews didn’t interest me at all, but the crop of featured cars was pretty decent.

Honestly I agree. The chemistry is there, the hosts are fun, the cars were cool, and there wasn’t a bunch of pointless studio fluff. Even the Star in a Car segment was concise and entertaining.

The Finale was boring i’m afraid. The Series Set was pretty good, can’t complain about much. They just seem old and it’s coming across on camera that they are tired and taking it easy. Still it’s better than nothing I guess. Alot more energy in Top Gear. Yeah the celebrity thing in both series is an intimidate skip over for me, unless they have someone on deck that is actually into cars.
