how does a short throw save someone from going into a tree?

The tree? They likely didn’t see it.
I’ve been in that situation. Blasted through a downed tree that was completely blocking a 4 lane road at night. Luckily it was pretty rotten. There was no way we could have stopped. Took out the Plastic chrome grill on our old escape.

I believe this is a throw back to the guy in a STI who said a shifter saved his life when a tree fell on his car.

I’m particularly a fan of when two stupids collide. Like @ 5:20.

Living in Russia genuenly scares me.
And I live in a place where driving almost always involves swearing.

The one at the 6:00 mark is the perfect example of how not to drive in snow. The car is hunting for traction side to side and the driver does not slow down. He had a good 10 seconds of warning from the car that he was going too fast and ignored the crap out of it. Probably tells people the car just suddenly snapped around on him too.

What are the odds of having dashcam footage from two sequential vehicles? (1:28 & again at 2:50) Not very high here in the US...
