Hot button right thur. Got in a bit of an arguement with my mom about gun control today... our only conclusions were that there is no easy or practical solution, and that we have very different interpretations of the spirit of the second amendment.

That and the issue of laws in general. Where lines need to be drawn, and why. Somehow it wandered into how gay marriage will lead to polygamy and beastiality as well as wedding to inanimate objects. From there we went to legal driving age, selective service, hunting laws, whether prohibition or even regulation is truely effective....

I love my mom and she is entitled to her own opinions as long as she doesn’t force them on others.
