Huh, that’s a major disappointment.

Lol, you expect Apple to support something that isn’t made by Apple.

Sort of makes sense...since Google bought Waze, they probably want that to work better with the Google versions. But Waze does provide data to Google maps regardless of platform.

Not shocking. Even on Android Auto, Waze only got support last summer.

You can’t even use Google maps.
Its Apple maps or get lost, literally. Which sucks.
But Apple knows it’s the only way they can get their people to use Apple maps.

But I still can use Google Maps, just apple maps.

Huh, that’s interesting, thanks! But not having a map on the screen is still a bummer.

Waze is owned by Google so no it wouldn’t be available through car play

“What do they expect me to use? Fucking Apple Maps”
Yes. It’s apple.
Now that you know how evil they are, time to upgrade to android.

It was just announced at CES in January that Ford Sync3 equipted vehicles will be able to use Waze with iPhones (map displayed on screen). This is not going through carPlay directly, but you still need to have your phone plugged in. This will require an update to Sync3 software to v3.

I just can’t, nothing will ever be as pretty or intuitive as Apple’s UI and phone design.
Also, if the Iphone can support Waze, why not port it to Carplay?

Cus they’re lazy.
So is google, they don’t get off the hook either!
Give it a try, it’s a bit like the first coffee sip you have as a child.
At first it’s horrible, but with a bit of time you’ll realize it’s vast superiority.
