Being a somewhat vertical windshield, it may have slid down a bit under it’s own weight before the adhesive had a chance to cure. Apparently is more apt to happen if the vehicle is driven too soon after installation, not that this was necessarily the case here.

Ohh that’s an interesting point. I wasn’t the owner at the time it was installed, so I don’t know if it was, but that sounds likely
