In case you missed it, a Czech Olympic snowboarder just won the gold in giant slalom (in skiing) by 0.01 second over the reigning gold medalist from Austria.

And in a few days, she’ll try the same feat on a snowboard, making her the first Olympic athlete to ever compete in both.
She’s like the Bo Jackson of the Olympics. Never let people force you into a box.

Another crazy part is that she won the gold with borrowed skis.
Also fun in this event, Liechtenstein got their first Olympic medal (bronze) since the ‘88 Games in Calgary. Honestly, that’s not bad considering the entire country has a population of about 37,000, which would make it the 207th most populated city in California.

I watched that, and she did it on borrowed skis. The look on her face at the end was priceless.
