I have seen some Panoz vehicles on my local track, but I don’t believe they are road legal in Canada.
Are they road legal in the US?

When we somehow out-crazied TVR.

Sagaris>that car

Are they rare? I can’t recall ever seeing one, and I live in LA and have seen all kinds of weird unicorns. And I’ve seen a TVR in the wild (in London).
Also, ugly.

Panoz: we haven’t updated our cars since 1998, because we aren’t selling any anyway.

Panos Esperante - 3,384 lb
TVR Sagaris. - 2,376 lb
Homemade corvette VS Miata with 400hp

Sure about that?

This is what always comes to mind for me. Like a cross between a Se7en and a Cobra.

Panoz had a lightweight, too.

Need moar powah to be a true answer.

That’s a beautiful car.
Even with the black wheels, whenever I see one coming down the road I always stop to look.

TVR made their own engines for a while. Panoz used Fords IIRC. Plus, Don Panoz started the ALMS. TVR started...using Mercedes engines.

It was a damn good car too!

Panoz is much more sane than TVR. Panoz also makes a bunch of race cars. Panoz is like the American Ginetta.

Still heavier.
Panos just seems like they weren’t fast, pretty, cheap or nice enough.

Now TVR uses Ford engines.
Why not I guess.

They are road legal in the U.S. They also build some track only models for racing.

neat!

That is the stock body work. I believe the side pipes come with the 6.2L and rear exhaust comes with the 5.0L.

Shit - I was thinking of Aston Martin.

I’ve always love Panoz, and their roadster was one of my favorite cars in Midtown Madness back in the day. However, they seem to be less well known than TVR, except among enthusiasts, and also have a significantly less “crazy” reputation. Also, and I’d have to check the numbers, but I suspect they’re even lower volume than TVR. So maybe, but they’re sort of their own weird thing.

ahh ok. maybe i just havnt looked at them in some time, but this is what I thought was standard:
maybe this is just a pre-face lift compared to what you posted

I dunno, somehow the look on that works for me. This, on the other hand, does not:
IT looks like a Corvette that had an allergic reaction which resulted in its face swelling up.

Don’t you dare! THe mk1 TVR Tuscan is beautiful!
