It was the car I really learned how to drive a manual in; I remember practicing in the Target parking lot. I had attempted to drive other manual cars, but this was the car I really was able to make move every time I released the clutch. That V10 was visceral. My eighteen year old self could seldom believe that one of my friends had access to a car like this.
I remember standing behind it one time while my friend revved it. It was one of the most glorious sounds I have ever heard. That V1o is just thunderous. I know the V8 in my M3 is the same engine with 2 cylinders lopped off, but that V10 sound is intoxicating.
If I ever have the space and cash for one, I’m buying it. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . It might have faults, but I want it so bad.

I’ve always liked the 6. It’s the most attractive BMW. In convertible form, it would be just about perfect for me.

Pretty sure you’re lucky to get into the double digits, then again no one in the car was paying for fuel.
As an M car owner, I don’t want to think about how much this car costs. Even if I want one.

Not sure, it seems the S85 is A LOT more expensive than the S65 in my M3.

Sadly, they sold the 650i drop top near me. I would like one, apart from the fact an M6 isn’t much more.

Ive never been able to follow the rantings of people putting down comvertible M cars, porsches, corvettes, and any of the like.
Sure its not the purest, hardest, gnarliest car ever made. But its such a have cake and eat it mentality.
Especially ones that have an attractive hardtop to bolt on

Same engine as the E60 M5. Very expensive to keep up with, but glorious when running right.
