!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Last night I went to bed thinking about how much I’d like an older Porsche, and sure enough this morning I see this guy on BaT.
Currently at a price I could afford (though pretty sure my wife might try to castrate me), I live in Houston so no delivery, looks awesome.
I need someone to tell me it is a bad idea and help me with my impulse control.

Yes, but BaT resets the clock at 2 minutes every time a bid comes in - - so you can’t win or lose just based on having the quickest trigger finger.
And you do see cars that have little action in the last 10-15 minutes occasionally - but I don’t expect this car to be one of those.

No kids, but had plans to use savings for a business idea. But... if it appreciates enough in a year or two, it doesn’t hurt me (but wife might).
I knew this was the wrong place to ask for tempering my desire.

Personally, I don’t think I’d bid on a car I hadn’t inspected, or had someone go look at, but you could always lob in a bid at your price and see where it goes- - I think this one has room to run though. Good luck!

Keep in mind that this investment has very high monthly fees unless you plan on keeping it in a vault. Also, depending on where the market goes, a 1976 model will be among the first to be affected in a downturn.
Having said all that, I approve. I also like the sellers garage...
