I’ve watched Jeopardy since the mid-80s and I’m glad to see Trebek is still just as humorously condescending as ever. The man doesn’t age!

I’ve made lots of jokes about my lack of sports knowledge, thinking the Washington Nationals were some sort of Walgreens-sponsored exhibition team, or not realizing both Atlanta and Nashville had NHL franchises. To be fair, I do watch about 2-3 college football games a year and learn a lot just by social osmosis.

I still got all of the following correct (I had to dig pretty deep on that last one...). None of the contestants even rang in.

I’m surprised they didn’t get the Tom Landry one at least. Seems like the sort of trivia they’d pick up, even without having ever watched a game.

No judgement here, I wouldn’t have got all either, not a football follower.

I am still amazed Atlanta has been given the NHL twice, and lost it both times.

Yes, I hate football, but I kicked in High School as I played soccer.

also to be fair atlanta had 2 NHL franchises and they both failed so hard they moved and became the Calgary Flames and the Winnipeg Jets

It was the only one I couldn’t think of but when I heard it I pulled an “oh yeah” in my head.

The purple people eaters is a funny name too that they could have picked up at some point. It’s ripe for bad trivia.

Oh man, thanks I needed a good laugh, that was amazing. I’ve been watching this week but missed this one. I only missed the cowboys one and I struggled on the last one, mainly because I’m too young for those 2 questions.
