I saw a late model Dodge Neon today. I’m assuming it’s just a Dart reskinned for the Mexican and other foreign markets. But it does make me wonder why they revived the name Dart for that car, since most late model Dart owners probably don’t know or care about the original Dart.

Close, it’s a Tipo for Mexico.
Quite an attractive little car. Wouldn’t be surprised if it replaces the Dart.

Nope! Mexico get’s the Neon according to Wikipedia (The car also had Mexican plates, so that was the first clue :)

Too many people probably still remember the Neon name and how crappy they were.
The only “decent” Neons I see left are either SRT-4's or belong to grandma who drives it to church and the grocery store.

I quite like the Tipo! If they brought the Tipo hatch over and sold it here, I’d consider one! :)

As said. It’s a Fiat Tipo. They get it in saloon and we get it 5 door hatchback and estate. I
