I remember Hyundai computers being somewhat common in the late 80s,   before the cars were sold in the US.

I know that much, large Japanese and Korean companies tend to dip their hands in everything. It’s just weird seeing a phone with the same badge that could be on your car.

Hyundai makes EVERYTHING, we as Jaloppos and (mostly) american/western european are just most familiar with thier cars. I have had Hyundai RAM in my computer, and I have stood on the decks of a Hyundai ship. I don’t know the extent to which they are in aerospace, but I seem to remember hearing they make communications satelites and are a licencee for Pratt & Whitney jet engines... The corporate motto ought to just be “Hyundai: yeah, we make that. ”.
