got called out of bed by a mate wanting to borrow $20... and then my kettle asploded

i’m sorry, but i got a good laugh out of that.

could be worse, i put the electric kettle in the fridge at work instead of back on it’s mount today.

it was disbelieving laughter but still...

think ill walk in to town tho.... my bike will probably blow a piston or something if i try to ride it today... and it doesnt even have any

lol tbh... i dont think he meant to wake me... it was quarter past noon... but im still readjusting from nightshifts... planned a couple hours more sleep

and tbh... i shouldnt lend him money... dudes got a hole in his pocket

but he always pays me back... eventually
