Every year we have a charity autox event to benefit the “Guns and Hoses” foundation. We invite the local PD and FD’s to come out and participate in our autox. The cops always beat the firefighters; however, they are the slowest people on the course.
One year, I spun out during a run and still managed to beat the fastest cop’s best run by seconds.
I’m sure they’d do better on a road course, but they’d still be at the ‘competent novice’ level.
You just can’t outrun the radios.

It already happened at Lone Star Park in Grand Prairie with the Equipe Rapide club on November 4th (it’s always the last event of the season).
All the local clubs are shut down for winter.
