Not really that many ads, this is clearly something that broken and looping/retrying when it shouldn’t be.
On the other hand, browsing kinja without an ad-blocker last night I got redirected to a fake anti-virus page telling me my Mcafee (which I don’t use) had expired, so yeah I’d keep those shields up.
