Drive with extra care today , as kids will be too busy thinking about candy than to think about looking both ways. Dark costumes don’t help but eh, what can you do?

when i first started driving, i thought i had killed a kid. was cruising through a neighborhood, with tight parking, and seemingly out of nowhere a kid popped out. heard a thump and everything......
i got out and looked around frantically for more than just a few minutes, there was NOONE to be found........... scared ME good...... to this day i am the guy that drives through neighborhoods at a crawl, stuff has a funny way of sticking with you......

After the neighborhood chili cook off and Halloween party, everyone goes out in groups with glow sticks we give them, and we parents walk with them . It helps that we’re a gated community, too. Still have to be vigilant though.

usefull psa... i dont need to worry about trick or treaters tonight.. thats next month for me but they all have lanterns and are easy to spot
kinda dreading it... i dont mind the kiddos turning up to my house and singing a song for their sweets (i gots the fullzise bars:p) that parts allright
its the morning after when theres always a story about little kiddos getting robbed of their candy by teenager s...... breaks me blackened little heart
