After driving the Hyundai Accent rental for a few days the Lexus is the absolute most sporty thing that ever sported. The steering has so much feel, there’s so much torque, it’s so damn faaaast.

Does the Lexus have a hydraulic rack or is it electric?

I had the reverse experience this weekend. After climbing out of my old man’s ‘17 Mustang GT that I borrowed for my honeymoon, I climbed straight into my rickety old Defender. It’s amazing how you get used to driving a pile of crap , because setting off in it after a short hiatus felt like I was learning how to drive again. The steering man, the steering. And clutch travel, and brake travel, and general lack of feel. Still love it though.

Makes sense why it had a lot more feed back, although the steering in the IS-F is electric and it also felt pretty damn good.
