oooo... well i know you dont live here mr fancy pants
other than the nose... its really quite a bland car to look at tho

The X sort of resembles a blob... a very fast blob.

Looks gigantic compared to European cars

It’s weird how common cars can be rare in other places. I wouldn’t think twice if I saw a Model X around here, but either of those other cars would have me whipping out my camera immediately.

the little ones just work better here... but thats not stopping anyone from buying bigly suvs and crossovers here.... just causing more people to whine about streets being too narrow all of a sudden now (wich.... well... shit mate... thats why you had a small car before... shoulda seent that coming really)

No, it is definitely ugly. This one just happens to have black wheels and tint which help obscure the ugliness by turning it into a single Blob of Opulent Minivan.
My parents were over there last year and couldn’t believe the Tesla popularity with the taxi services. While I might see an S or an X once a day now (and the Model 3 is surging in popularity), they were talking about entire lines of taxis that were nothing but Model S. I seem to remember there being a lot of additional subsidies there to sell them, but could be wrong. It’s just hard to believe and already expensive car sells in such high numbers in one of the most expensive car markets in the world.

the tesla fleets happened
but considering most taxis over here are mercs and bimmers already the teslas probably arent hugely more expensive than the fleets already were... especially after incentives and what not

I’ve not seen a Vauxhall/Opel Agila A for a while now.
Then again, I rarely see an Agila B either.

I don’t know why they brought them out though, it’s just a Suziuki Wagon P with a Vauxhall/Opel badge.
Okay Vauxhall didn’t have a vehicle that size but it had the popular Corsa and larger but more flexible Meriva.

Not a great seller here and even then mostly to the older generation.

Tesla marketed itself by offering free charging for the lifetime of the car, for the first few years of Model S production. There are no punitive emissions taxes on Teslas either, so it really was a no brainer for many taxi compa nies.
