I just went looking at what other Indian car companies had and found Ashok Leyland.
Leyland, WTF!
Captain 2518
and even
the Ecomet 1012 Tipper looks just like the old Ford truck.
Also, ever noticed how from a distance or a poor quality picture the Leyland logo looks like a swastika?

I just looked for a picture of a Leyland to post and noticed the poor quality image looked odd.
Mind, the swastika as we call it actually has it’s roots as a religious icon in Eurasian culture for divinity and spirituality.

I hadn’t noticed that.
But tbh, the swastika is a Hindu symbol that predates Hitler coopting it for his villainery.

Ye’, that’s what I noted in my further reply Pip Bip.
It’s not something I’ve ever noticed before, but now I have, I can’t not notice it.

Good riddence! I rode in one of these from the airport on the way to the town where the Taj Mahal is and on the expressway the driver had to drop to 80 km/h or so almost every time there was one of those bridge transitions in the road, otherwise the thing would lurch so bad. Not to mention being metal death traps and all.
