Through the eyes of a potato cam...
(It took me this long to figure out how to load the clip...I’m old...)
This appears to be one of the earlier style, with the pop up roof. Definitely the earlier grill. Only 376

I saw one about 2 months ago and had to google it. I had no idea what it was

Wow, just went down yet another internet rabbit hole....

I’ve only ever seen one driving in Denver a few years ago. The LeMay in Tacoma has one on display though. Really the only RV I would want.

Right?

I almost bid on one, but the small number of units manufactured scared me off.
Regrets...

It’s like a dustbuster van grew up and had a family.
I’d totally deck one out in traditional Star Trek shuttle fashion.

BMW diesel, manual, it could not be more perfect.

Hang on. This car isn’t a BMW at all is it?

E nough so that BMW apparently a llowed the logo on both ends.

One of the engine options , according to that website, is a BMW diesel. I guess that was enough of an endorsement?

I was under the impression that they all had BMW “ drive trains,” but I’ve been incorrect before. At least once.

You might be correct. I really don’t know enough about these. LOL
I just went by the fact that BMW was only mentioned next to one of the drivetrain options so I figured the others were sourced somewhere else.

I knew these existed. That’s the only thing I had going for me when I saw it.
And the BMW engine I thought they all had.

Oh yeah, but that means less than nothing. Aston have Merc drivetrains, McLaren F1 has BMW as well, and Renaults have Nissan. Is the Mclaren F1 a BMW? No, sir.
Apparently these were built by a company called Vixen that has no affiliation with BMW. They just bought their engines in the same way they probably bought electricals from Bosch
![]() 10/25/2018 at 17:40 |

Really? That’s unusual. Selling your engines to Vixen is one thing, allowing them to steal your identity is...another

I just saw the Vixen and reported same. Talk to BMW about the legal issues. Don’t get your panties in a bunch because of a propeller logo on a box.
