Why am I just finding out about this now?
Seriously, this is less than an hour from me. My brother and I have been finding just about everything we need for his project online, but we’ve been meaning to stop by Trio at some point. At least to get the radio unlock code. Just haven’t made it that far yet.

that is sad to see. My home tow in Maine had a Saab dealer right in the middle of town. It had been there all my life. Like Volvo Saab sold well in Maine, and even though our town was a small mill town, having a dealership right there meant that Saabs were a common sight. It was kind of sad when I went back a few years ago and saw a Mitsubishi dealership in it’s place. However they still had the old Saab signs on the building, and their used lot was filled with Saabs. Apparently they still had a few Saab techs working or them and all the old tools. So although they are a Mitsubishi dealership they are kind of moonlighting as a Saab specialty shop.
A mitsu dealership makes more sense in that town now any way. All the manufacturing moved away so it’s more likely to find some looking for a 12k dollar Japanese hatchback than some on looking for a premium turbocharged European fastback.

Google says there are still some other Saab dealers around here, but yeah their signs are long gone too.
