Since the TA is currently out of commission, I’m taking the Miata to meet my dad up north to go pheasant hunting.
As good as the car looks with the tan soft top, it looks even better with the color matched hardtop.
(Shout out to Jayhawk Jake for helping me get the hardtop from my apartment onto the car)

Temps are dropping here, to the point the summer rubber isn’t in its happiest place. This weekend will probably be the swap to winter tires (coupled
with an
alignment adjustment to increase camber
). The hard top will go on too, as there aren’t going to be many more good days for
top-down driving.

Where do you pheasant hunt? My family is from Nebraska and we hunted there up until about 5 years ago. Then bird populations dropped off and we started to go to South Dakota (almost to North). Usually go opening non-resident weekend, but due to a number of circumstances this year we are deferring to early next year (if populations hold and it isn't too snowy).
