2015 GTI SE with 7553 miles; they will sell it for $21000 OTD
DSG (shoot me later if you must), leather, sunroof...just hope they don’t recognize me and think this is for my job

Jack Daniels VW? Charlie Daniels VW maybe, but never would have guessed Jack Daniels

No xenons though

And no PP.

What happened to the other ones?

Why not just look at low options
new one for that?
![]() 10/22/2018 at 18:58 |

For not much more, just get a new one.

That’s a nice car, no doubt. But three (really four most likely) years old and only 7700 miles? Weird. Plus 2015 had the sucky head unit with no CarPlay.

The one closest to me never got back to me, the autobahn one out in PA wouldn’t even discuss #’s unless I came in

Has PP according to them

Their new GTI’s are 30k :(

I’d probably get the DSG too, my commute has a lot of traffic.

(Hides)
I dont want another daily manual

I'm pretty sure Jordan didn't pay 30k... maybe ..?

I did a search and called two dealers that came up on car gurus. I got 24,500 OTD as the cheapest for a GTI S manual

Well there you go

DSG is rad. Too bad it’s not a 2-door.
Is leather an absolute must? Because the plaid seats rule and they are heated.

The DSG is better than the manual in these anyway.

Any other pics?

I get the appeal of the low miles, but you can get an Autobahn for pretty close to that price. I am looking casually myself...

This is exactly what I found. $24,500 brand new. I briefly considered new, but several thousand less for a slightly used car seemed like a much better deal.

Unless VW changed things for 2016, all PP-equipped GTIs should have red lettering for GTI badges.
I’d asked for an original V-Spec to verify performance package being equipped.

The DSG is a fantastic gearbox. Nothing to be ashamed of. I’d have one also
, except that I rarely drive in heavy traffic and I still overwhelmingly enjoy shifting gear myself.

Theres a ‘17 autobahn a state over from me, the dealer doesnt even want to entertain anything unless im in person

Leather isn’t a must at all; i found a 2017 plaid one near me but they haven’t even answered my email

I would ask for the option sheet, but another way to find out is get in the car, change to the custom drive mode, hit the adjust icon, and see if you can mess with the diff settings. I believe that’s a way to tell if it is a PP car.

Good to know, thank you!p

Also, rear rotors are vented vs. solid on non-pp cars.
![]() 10/22/2018 at 22:23 |

I’m pretty sure it’s a non-PP. The front and rear GTI badges aren’t red, a nd while it’s not a sign on the 7.5, it is on the 7. Also, those brakes:
vs My PP brakes for reference:

I also am super skeptical about that car having the performance package as claimed.

/fingers crossed

I really enjoyed my golf R but the one thing I did not like is the seats would make my legs get pins and needles 2 hours into the drive. And I drive 3,000 miles and I could not find comfort in those dang seats!

I just want to chill on my commute so an auto is fine for me. I also have a bad left knee so it could be painful to shift sometimes.

As others have pointed out seperately (
on
the 7th gen)
, on PP GTIs, the “GTI” lettering on front and back
would be red and the calipers would have “GTI” lettering in white on the red calipers.
