It’s too early to worry about the yellow snow.

Of the apocalypse? That I need a good (?) Catholic girl (my wife would not be pleased at that).
That I’m old?
Yea, it’s probably that last one...

The Wind Cries Mary came on about 10 minutes later. Before Catholic Girls, there was some Zep.
Overall, a pretty damn good playlist for my 50 year old ass. Sooo... not exactly hip. But I loved it.
When this came on, I exclaimed “I haven’t heard this song in 35 years” and the guy next to me said, “This is some good Zappa, I was just texting my buddy about this song!!”
Bartender was 8 months pregnant, with her first- she was awesome. 10/10, great train station bar, would recommend.

I know the place- haven’t eaten in the bar but inhaled a McDonald’s breakfast sitting just outside many tomes.

Yeah, it’s right around the corner from the McD’s, on the main path towards the S/SW bound Metra trains and most of the Amtrak trains.
I just had an hour to kill after a downtown meeting on a consulting project + a 1/2 hour phone interview, so it was pretty nice. One of those places where the bartender knew 80% of the people that came by, and was super friendly to the other 20% (inc. me).

Nice. I love it when I unexpectedly have time to kill and somewhere good to do it. Also +1 about Frank Zappa.
