I just read about former Carolina Panther !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! after his 1999 murder of his girlfriend, which also left their unborn son with permanent disabilities. It made me remember how mad I was at the time (along with everyone else)...but it also made me think “Damn, the Carolina Panthers have been a team since before 1999?” They still seem like a scrappy expansion team to me.

And that immediately made me think of this piece from Hannibal Burress. The whole clip is good, but the part I’m referencing starts at 1:35 about the passage of time. Moderately NSFW language, definitely NSFHR (not safe for Human Resources) language and subject matter .

I heard this clip over Pandora last week.  It was funnier with just audio.  He just looks so clean cut and suburban with those glasses and sport jacket that it doesn’t quite fit with the words.

“accessory to attempted murder” is a wayyyyyy too generous interpretation of what he did.
