How could it be a bad idea? If i didn’t a kid the 500 Abarth would have been on the top of my list, instead a WRX.

It’s a fine idea, but sit in one and see how you feel before spending a lot of time thinking about it. I have an NA Miata and a non-Abarth 500, and the seating positions are night and day. Just make sure you are comfortable behind the wheel.
