No really, we’re looking for a M3 lightweight. I know there’s one for sale in Colorado with 25k on the clock, but it’s heavily modded. We have a certain # covered for a lightweight, but I mean I don’t think I’m finding one.
We’re also searching for clean e46 M3 manuals WITH the competition package and under 30k miles
Basically I have a better chance of getting hit by a meteor while also being struck by lightning than finding either of these cars.

Checked out EAG - Their M3 inventory looks nice, but definitely overpriced. $40k for an E46 is insane. On top of that, a 12+ yr old
car that is only driven 2k miles / yr is gonna have some problems related to lack of usage.

Im more of a mileage is a high score kinda person.
Suspension can be restored, interiors can be reupholstered. As long as the metal is straight as its been well documented id be willing to go for higher miles at a lower price.

If you find a e36 lightweight I will be very jealous. Best of luck in the search!

My neighbor in Baltimore has a white lightweight bu t it is his pride and joy. He knows way he has, drives it regularly and maintains it perfectly. It's truly something to behold.

Buy the one off Michelin in Laurens, SC. They’re finally retiring their old tire tester. It needs a lot of TLC..and a Euro-spec engine as they blew up the original and replaced it with a US-spec unit. Lots of miles on it but lots of stories to tell!

Conveniently the BMW CCA foundation in Greer SC has an S50B32 sitting in their lobby. I bet they’re relinquish it to put a lightweight back on the road.

Lightweights didn’t come with the Euro-spec engine though, right? That makes them less of a holy grail than an ordinary E36 M3 with the M eng ine.
E
30 best M3 anyway.

Ho. S hit. Damn, I’ll have to ask a Michelin employee next time I’m up there for autocross if the M3 has been sold or not . Speaking of which, our next event is Michelin’s test testing site in Laurens on Saturday November 17th, would you like to bring down that sweet M3 to take part...or just spectate?

I would like to bring it down, but I would really need to change the brakes on it, and I don’t see that happening, so if I’m able to make it, I’d just spectate .

The place that repaired my clownshoe’s subframe a few months ago had two of them. One was a track car and the other was getting an oem resto
