A drunk US. Marine assaulted a Brisbane barracks staffer and assaulted an Australian federal Police Officer who had came to her aid and only gets three months in jail (sentenced to 15 months jail but suspended after three) at which point he’ll be sent back to the U.S. to be court marshalled.
What the hell.

Exactly, since when is this not Prison Island? Sentence him to Hard Yakka in the Outback.
Court martial in the US does sound like it will be considerably worse if I’m honest though.

I hope so. Reading on the incident it sounds horrific and he being a former high school football player now military trained, the outcome could of gotten worse easily.
