Review idea for the Atlas. Thoughts?

VW dropped off an Atlas for the week and since it’s basicallg just a +25% of the Tiguan I already reviewed, I don’t have much new info. Well, Friday I’m watching a friend’s kid(3 year old) and am thinking of having him review the atlas for me. I’ll ask him give him a question and let him answer it. Would that work?

Definitely borrow a car seat and get picture of him in the way back, back seat, and middle back. Also, photos of room behind the third row with something put back there for scale (like paper grocery bags). Could swing by the Subaru dealer and compare with the Ascent (space inside, if nothing else - a test drive if you can get it).

Might as well find a big parking lot and let him drive around on your lap.

Just shit on the atlas for not being a Touareg.

I HATE VW for making these marketing decisions for NA; a cheap passat, a cheap SUV! In Mexico its worse! The Jetta had a 5 cyl available until this year!

Why do they worry so much? They could go a bit up market like in the past! Oh, is it because it’d be taking away A udi sales? please!

The Tiguan is a “7" seater and the Atlas is a 7 seater. I’m going to talk about it some.

You could also say the Tiguan is a 7 seater in the way a 911 or BRZ/86 is a 4 sea ter .

A friend has one of those. I genuinely didn’t believe him when he told me it had a third row, multiple times.

The problem is none of my cars are really that dog friendly so we end up driving her RX quite a bit a nd well ... it’s not my favorite. once were in a spot where we are ready to buy, I am going to take her to drive a wagon or two. She always says she likes how my car drive but will not step off of the crossover cliff.
