That looks like a house centipede, which is harmless to humans, and actually eats other insects (spiders, in particular). For that reason, I actually tend to leave them alone when I find them.

But why would I want my ninja spiders gone? Those ugly mofo centipedes are huge, ugly, ugly, huge, and ugly. My house spiders are like inch long beige ninjas that keep flies out. And the wolf spider that lives in my basement keeps crickets and the like out of the basement. He’s also a ninja. The second he sees a human in the basement he takes off. The house centipedes sit there and stare at me like they own the place.
