There’s more to life than work and the internet. Which is a lie I tell myself after working 9.5 hours of overtime in the last three days. Keep up hobbies and remind yourself why you work in the first place.

Can I piggyback something on this? It’s also important that you like what you do. Don’t waste time staying with a job you hate.
I changed jobs in January, and it’s been the best decision I’ve ever made. The five years previous, I was absolutely miserable. November and December were when I was at my lowest point, doing a job I hated and having to train people on something I had zero experience with. Now, I have a job I absolutely love with the best company I’ve ever worked for. I’m not going to be rich, but I’m happy.
My partner has had it way worse. He’s worked for a retail company that has made no effort to make him feel wanted or valued for the last ten years. He’s been so miserable there that he just took a job with another company that will amount to about a 30% pay cut. But there will be ample opportunity for advancement, and it’s not a retail company that has to deal with holiday craziness.
Don’t let yourself stay miserable. Find something that you enjoy and your life will improve.

Let me piggyback on this and say work only to do the things you love. Don’t let the tail wag the dog.
