Marching band competition and I am pushing this sound cart on and off the field. It’s got a sound board and many cables. It is VERY heavy. Getting my cardio work for the day.

I think that person at the sound cart could do with a beer.

Daaaaamn that cart is nice though (jealous!)
Also those look like old school Cavies uniforms, do they have a white sash across the front too?

We both could. But she’s a bit young. It’s hot out here.

Too young, nah. I was drinking cider at 13-14, started drinking Guinness at 14. We even passed a small bottle of vodka round our English class once, each table taking turns to distract the teacher with another question, we were 15 I think. Then we went to see Shakespeare’s Macbeth at a theatre and we were all pretty drunk on cider and lager. Went sailing and I was drinking whiskey with the teachers (one drank a shop’s own brand whisky and the other drank Teachers or Grouse while I drank Bushmills) at 16-17.

The best equipment parent money can buy. No, no sash. Just a stylized M for the high school. They did great, so I expect we’ll be back for finals tonight.

Ours is homemade :(

We’ve got a bunch of homemade speaker racks, instrument crates, props, etc. Somebody in the band has a parent who is a metalworker.

When I was still in junior high, my dad and I use our tractor and Gator to haul equipment like that on and off the field for all the bands that came to our school for competitions. One of my earlier driving experiences. Was a bit disappointed the next year when I was actually in the marching band, and therefore could no longer drive equipment to the field. But that would have made your day much easier I'm sure.
