This is discusting so I’m going to share it with you guys and gals
this is a 48 Dodge with the front bumper of a freaking CALIBER grafted onto it. This is worse than when people try to make PT cruisers look like real 40's cars, a=and hot rods.
it also has some early 80s Chrysler Imperial wheels on the back.
here’s the CL ad, nothing else interesting about it.

Not that it makes it any better, but that looks more like a magnum front end, rectangular fog light holes instead of round

im ok with it.....
the carelessly applied filler bothers me tho.... smooth that shit out

i believe you are correct. the “bumper” also sticks out more on the “I’m not a PT Cruiser”

I think the worst/oddest part is it look like the original grill is still sitting behind the new one.

The wheels are easily swapped, and I love the color.
But that front end tells me all I need to know about the builders decision making skills.
CP because I’ll bet you $ 4900 that car is more bondo then metal.

I still don’t understand what the designer was thinking when they did that rear bumper.

I actually wouldnt mind the wheels if they matched.

... Why?

bonus points for half arsing it

they were thinking MAKE IT BIGGER.
also not I cant stop starring at it. I love the car, and the color combo but now that bumper bugs me.

That’s pretty. But my knuckles hurt just looking at the shifter.

at least it’s not a 3 on the tree. actually that would be cool.
its odd to see a four on the floor in a big cruiser like that.

The extra gear is nice. Not many American cars offered a floor shift in 1957 - I know GM didn’t, and I don’t think Ford did, either ( besides Corvette and T Bird of course).
The shifter in that car looks 3 inches too long to me, but would have to see it in person. Otherwise I love it.

Not sure why someone would do that.

drugs. the owner f this car probably did a lot of them in the 70s. brains just fried.

I see the OG grille behind the Magnum one. I bet that front bumper is just Bondo’d on and thus could probably be easily returned to stock. Still a CP but it doesn’t seem like the car is fully ruined.

Well, that is better than imagining a person who thought that looks good.
![]() 10/05/2018 at 12:16 |

Good news is this is probably easily since it looks like they didn t cut anything up underneath

Honestly... it could be worse. At least you could make something better out of it.
