I have a clipboard at work to keep track of credit card/ check tips, and yesterday a guy insisted on writing a check for an even $1000 when his total was $999.

Being a totally normal and professional person, I made sure to fill out the form for that extra dollar so my team can get our 33 cents.

And clean the place up. A “ serious” mechanic takes care of His / Her work environment and tools.

Apparently I’m the only one who noticed this wasn’t restrained in any fashion.  That looks like a rather elaborate way to deposit it onto the ground for lack of some cord or bungee straps.
