Oh crap. That’s going to be fun getting to work. My snows are mounted and ready for installation before the first real storm.

Bummer. I had the windshield down yesterday, and it’s not as though Indiana is known for its hot climate.
I actually enjoy the snow (it’s like off-roading, without the hours of travel that usually requires) but I’m no fan of the cold weather that it presupposes.

Like...I can’t even conceive of this. It’s still in the 90s here, about a month later than it should be. I just paid my highest September power bill ever.

We got pretty much no snow in Tulsa the last couple winters. I’m hoping we get at least one good one this year. I can do without the ice, though...

This is my main beef with living where I do...there are literally no fun off-roading areas within probably 4 hours

Gross. I’ll stay on the west coast thanks.

It’s snowing here in Kamloops this

It’s a bit early, Halloween is pretty regularly white though.

My main thing is drivers who take hours to get anywhere.. We usually get snow from Nov to Feb, but each storm take about 3 days for drivers to relax and drive instead of jamming the brakes and sliding everywhere.

As if we needed more reasons to stay on this side of the Rockies..

yessssss snow! I am extremely excited to see snow falling up there. Definitely trying hard to make it to Revelstoke this year which will probably include flying into Calgary.

My friends are headed to Roseland and Nelson next week for one last mountain biking foray before winter. It might get interesting. Meanwhile
I’m headed to California, much better weather (and food)
down there.

Seriously. I’d live on the west coast or east coast, but fuck everything else.

Was 90 here yesterday as well. But that is pretty normal for Socal. Should finally cool off a bit later this week but eventually the Santa Ana winds will bring back excessive heat again and probably fires.

It’s not too different
that Whitefish, just a bit further north and the trails are more numerous
and gnarlier.

More Timmys- and some would argue better beer.

So if PBR and Kokanee go head to head who would win?

Hipsters vs Mel the Sasquatch
? I would watch that match.

We’re getting 40-75mm of rain in Nova Scotia tonight starting around now....usually no snow for us until late December or early January these last few years!

Oh I agree, if I lived somewhere where it could snow I would feel the same way. I HATE snow when it is at or around home. I dont want to shovel it, I dont want to scrape ice from my car, and I dont want to lose fun driving for the next 6 months. Like sure snownuts can be fun but realistically its just bad driver dodging and freezing to death instead of anything fun. This is why I like OTHER places getting snow that I can go visit in a few hours drive or flight.
