While I’d way rather have a Synergy V8... This is an acceptable compromise :p

There was a company here that briefly built supercharged 1UZ-engined NA Miatas

They are one of the few companies that made a cast lower intake manifold to mate a supercharger aswell.

I don't think anyone with ears would be caught by surprise, but sure, sleeper.

I wouldnt want to bother with forced induction on a regular miata motor. I would definitely much rather just go the full LS swap route. This is definitely one of those “long term” goals with my Miata. I do from time to time get tired of how slow it is, especially after driving my STi for a bit. But if the motor goes on the car and I am in a place to do an extensive project, I would love to LS swap my Miata. It would be one of those “week long” projects that ends up taking 5 years to complete. But such is life. It would be really sweet at the end.
